Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on the 22nd of November 1984) Her range of talents as an actor has garnered the world awe, from dramas of the past to suspenseful films and even adventures. Johansson was the daughter of an architect as well as a producer, was born within New York City. Her twin brother Hunter as well as her mother were the youngest siblings. When she was a kid, she began acting. At 7 years old She had auditioned for a number of commercials. She was enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly following and then was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. In the year she turned eight old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in Off-Broadway productions. And at age nine she made her acting debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen on the screen in Just Cause (1995), however, her breakthrough came in the form of Manny & Lo a coming of age movie about two sisters fleeing. The Horse Whisperer (2000) the film in which she played the role of a teenage girl who has a deformity caused by an accident, earned the film critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca), Johansson gained the attention of a whole new generation.
